It’s been a whirlwind 2017 so far!

First of all, I want to offer you a most sincere “thank you” for your generous support of my campaign. Even after losing our majority status, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party was able to secure funding for several efforts aimed at expanding opportunities for Minnesotans.

Yet, there is still so much we need to do. I will lead on legislation to assure that Minnesotans seeking to contribute to our society – by getting a job – will not be punished for their past. I understand that our state depends upon developing an educated, 21st Century workforce. And that involves assuring that our school system can truly provide our youth with the knowledge and the opportunity to reach their dreams.

I am going to continue this fight to make Minnesota the most progressive state in the union – and I will need your help!

There are two ways you can help.

First, Please consider making a contribution to my campaign so I can continue the fight for progress.

This year making a contribution is easier than ever because we’ve reinstated the Political Contribution Refund program. The PCR allows the first $50 of your contribution ($100 for married couples) to be reimbursed by the state. When you send in your contribution, we will mail you a receipt that you can send in to the state to be reimbursed.

I want to keep working towards our shared goals but I need your support. Please send a $25, $50 or $100 contribution right away. You can go online to the DONATE button above or send a check to the following address:

The second way you can help by joining Governor Mark Dayton, Lt. Governor Tina Smith, Vice President Walter Mondale, US Representative Keith Ellison, US Representative Tim Walz, Attorney General Lori Swanson, State Auditor Rebecca Otto,
And several other notable progressive Minnesota leaders at The Minneapolis Club on September 28 from 5 to 7 pm.

Since we were able to regain the Public Campaign Refund program, the first $50 per person and $100 per couple are refundable.

I can never thank you enough for your support and am humbled to be able to do the work I do. Thank you so much for helping me reach my fundraising goals.

Sincerely,

(signature)
